About Gina

Gina Farncombe lives in a remote valley high above Ullswater in the English Lake District. Most of her work is connected and inspired by the landscape, the people and the animals all around her in this part of the British Isles.

She always carries a sketch book and records people, places, atmospheres, colours, shapes and situations wherever she goes. Gina's sketch book is just another way of communicating to herself and to those around her who are interested.

She paints, draws, prints, sculpts, wood-cuts and i-pads where-ever and when-ever time allows.

Gina's formal Art Education has been in Florence, Sunderland and St. Ives School of painting. Her real education in Art is just a continuous and onward journey. She has had many exhibitions and sells paintings, prints and cards of her work
